Pulse Driving Academy

Pulse Driving Academy allows 15 and 16 year olds to start their driver training early. The aim of the academy is to teach pupils as much as possible about driving, manoeuvres and car control before they are 17 so they are already more than capable of driving when they get their provisional licence and only need to learn about driving on roads.

Pulse Driving Academy uses a specific syllabus that ensures pupils learn all of the required skills for a lifetime of driving and develop the correct attitude and understanding of the implications of driving. Driving academy pupils will work their way through different levels, starting at level one with basic car control, continuing to level 5 and 6 of Dynamic car control and finishing at level 8 by passing the driving test. Pupils can then continue to level 9, Pass Plus, and finally level 10, advanced driver training.

At the moment 1 in 5 new drivers are involved in a crash in the first six months after passing the test. A Swedish study has shown that people who started to learn about driving from the age of 12 are 40% less likely to be involved in a crash within the first year of driving.

Completing the Pulse Driving Academy training will give all pupils a massive head start in learning to drive. Each session completed will result in pupils moving up a level as long as the necessary skills are learned to the necessary standard. To get the maximum result from taking part in the driving academy pupils should commit to a minimum of 4 sessions a year. Each training session will last for 2 hours.
Every pupil that joins the academy will receive a free gift.*

Training sessions can be done in small groups (maximum of 3 pupils in the training car) or taken privately on a 1:1 basis. Please contact us if you would like more information.
